Our MBA students, this year, had the opportunity to spend a week in Moscow, Russia attending the ‘Doing Business in Russia’ programme delivered by our Russian partner as well as visiting a number of international companies. They had the chance to network with senior management teams such as, the multinational cyber-security and anti-virus provider Kaspersky Lab and meet the industry giant PepsiCo. The students also had the opportunity to visit the wonders of Moscow including the iconic Kremlin.
The students took part in a short version of a rap video, ‘Parody of Melting Ice’ which can be seen here: Parody of Melting Ice
The trip received great feedback from students who shared their testimonials with us:
Grazielen Zemek – “Moscow is beautiful and the ‘Doing Business in Russia’ programme delivered by the MFAU is very interesting, creative and fun. The trip to Russia organised by UCLan was not only a great opportunity for us MBA students to get an insight into international businesses but also to network internationally. Each day was different and exciting.
The whole group stayed together throughout all the activities during the programme and during our free time, we all got on very well and connected during our trip. The hotel was very nice and the breakfast unforgettably good! Olga was our amazing host, thank you for showing us Moscow and introducing us to the Georgian cuisine. Also, a big thank you to Dorota and Louise (Our lecturers) who made this trip one of the best and most unique experiences.”
Felistus Ahmed – “The trip to Moscow was an incredible experience that has since opened up potential future business opportunities. Meeting with one of the local CEO’s, led me to request friendship through LinkedIn which, in turn has led me to connect with other CEO’s in the areas I have business interest. Now it is up to me to make it work!
Thank you Dorota for such an amazing time and opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to get without our trip to Russia.”
Our partners in Moscow had positive comments in return about our students, they have expressed these in an interview conducted here: Interview
