PR Campaigns in A Digital Age โ€“ Guest Speaker – Tony Garner, VIVA PR – Friday 23rd February 2018

A group of third year undergraduates studying the MK 3123, Business to Business and Re-seller Markets Module in the BA (Hons) Marketing Management course from the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise and their tutor, Caroline Holliday enjoyed a stimulating guest speaker presentation from Tony Garner at VIVA PR. Tony gave an insight into the PR agency work in the business to business sector. Tonyโ€™s friendly, professional manner was well received and it helped bring theory to practice on an important area of marketing.

Module tutor for the MK 3123 module Caroline Holliday said โ€œTonyโ€™s guest speaker presentation was really interesting. It helped us to see how important the role of PR agencies are in the business to business and re-seller markets. Amongst other things we were particularly impressed with Tonyโ€™s insight into the role of the โ€˜virtual voiceโ€™ and augmented reality. I would like to thank Tony for coming into UCLan to share his knowledge with myself and the students and I would also like to thank Chris Shaw for joining Tony and I for lunch to discuss the marketing and PR industry and further collaboration with Tony and VIVA PR.โ€
