The first Lancashire Business School (LBS) PG Advice Afternoon this year gathers current students and recent graduates keen to find out more about advantages of studying master’s degree at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
The event presented students with an opportunity to speak with course leaders about the postgraduate programmes taught at LBS and receive all the necessary information on entry requirements, course content, fees and funding.
Chatting over tea and cakes led students to unearth how studying masters at UCLan can enhance their personal development and boost employment prospects.
Alison Lucas, division leader of Communication, Marketing and PR, said: “A number of our current final year students are considering the option of studying a postgraduate programme . The School offered an event, which provided undergraduates with first-hand postgraduate course information and enabled them to get all their questions about the courses and their financing options answered.”
Students and graduates also had a chance to meet current students on various business related postgraduate programmes and talk about the course content including field trips and the overall experience of being a master’s student.
LBS will host the second PG Advice Afternoon on Wednesday 9th April 2014. Look out for more information on our social media channels.
