The Business School’s postgraduate study fair gathered current students and recent graduates to find out more about advantages of studying master’s degree at UCLan.
The event presented students with the opportunity to chat with course leaders about the postgraduate courses and receive all the necessary information on entry requirements, course content, fees and funding.
Chatting over tea and cakes led students to unearth how studying master’s at UCLan can positively contribute to their personal development and future careers.
Accounting and Finance Division leader Francine Le-Saint said: “The skills and qualities students develop during their master’s degree enhance their employability and help them stand out in currently highly competitive graduate employment job market.”
She added: “At the end of the studies, the additional qualification acquired, i.e. master’s degree, really proves to employers that postgraduates have determination, tenacity and the ability to develop higher level knowledge.”
During the fair undergraduates also had a chance to meet current students from postgraduate programmes and chat about the course content including field trips and the overall experience of being a master’s student.
